How does it work?
We know it can be draughting trying to arrange live in care, so here's a quick guide to how it works!

Care needs assessment (CNA)
If you feel we might be a good fit for you we can arrange to come out and do a care needs assessment, this is a no obligation assessment completed by one of our experienced coordinators. This assessment takes about an hour and is free of charge with no commitment. During this assessment we will get all the information we need to create a care plan. Thing we like to find out to help writing the care plan are:

Duties you'd like us to perform
This assessment is also an opportunity for any questions to be asked of us and for you to get a feel for us as a provider and if you think we'd fit well with you.

Care plan written and signed off
After the care needs assessment has been completed, our coordinator will write up the care plan. The care plan is the plan followed by the live in carer, it will be an in-depth encompassing what is required each day, likes/dislikes and a personal history. If the needs of the client changes, we can arrange to do a new CNA and update the care plan at anytime.
Once the care plan is written, it will be sent out for the client/next of kin to review. Once agreed, contracts will be sent out, a live in carer scheduled and the live in care can start.

Costs and other information
A few key bits of information to help inform your decision if Live in care is for you...
How long do I need to commit for?
Once you have agreed to start we ask for a minimum 8 week commitment, after the 8 week period all we need is a weeks notice to end the live in care.
How long will it take from the agreement of my care plan to the start of my live in?
It will take around one week form the care plan being agreed and the start of your live in care.
What do I need to provide for my live in carer?
The live in carer will require their own room and a bed, shared bathroom and kitchen facilities will also be required.
Will my live in carer need a break?
The live in carer will be with you for a minimum of 8 weeks, they will need a two hour break each day.
What happens if I don't get on with my live in carer?
Don't worry we totally understand that not everyone can get on, if you find that you're not clicking with your live in carer we can always find someone different for you, usually within five working days.
How much will it cost?
We charge £1200.00 per week for a single person and £1800 for a couple.
How do I pay?
We send out a invoice every four weeks which will be debited via a direct debit.
